How could you ?!

How did I ever fall for you,
And your false promises.
You came out of the blue,
And made my life lawless.

You promised me the stars,
And a future countless.
You ignored my scars,
And made me feel flawless.

You traitor, you cheat,
You faker, you mistreat.

You have proved to be dishonest,
With yourself, with me and with our relationship.
Hadn't you always acted so modest,
We would have been following  acquaintanceship.

Why did you make me
Plan our future together,
When you never wanted to be,
Tied with a tether.

Why, why did you take the hand,
Of the angel, sent to receive you.
I don't understand,
How you could give up on the woo.
